My stats level 62 Strength 139 Agility 72
Equip:
Injustice , Ascension, 2x Dragon Tail, Abyssal demon.
The attacking power of the Beast is unimaginable , increasing your strength to match is almost impossible at this stage.
Only way to defeat it by having high agility, high agility means higher chance of activating item skill and evading the beast attack.
i had 6 agility tonic + 2 strength tonic to boost my agility and to reduce the offset of my strength.
For those who had build their character differently , you can choose to come back later.

No, if you increase your strength enough you can average killing it in around 2 rounds meaning you only have to average dodging once and sometimes not at all if you're lucky.
have you consider something like... instant death? it really works
IMHO it MAY be based on luck, though I'm not quite sure. I have far more lower stat points than you when I tried the Beast. Managed to defeat it three times in a row (unfortunately no luck in getting the item).
It's either Beast didn't manage to attack at all, or I've "Ascended to God" (Ascension equipped) right after he attacked.
His attack on me so far is around 8-12k damages.
now I already level 65, with strength 143, add with armor is 258, still can't beat him...
Manage to kill the beast and get the item at the same for my second attempt. I did buy 6 Agility tonic and 3 Strength tonic as you suggested. I believe that helped. I evaded 2 attacks from the beast. Here are my stats:

higher agility doesn't affect item skill activation, just determines whether you get criticalled upon, get hit, or if you dodge, and whether you miss, hit the opponent, or score a critical hit.

looks like agi is still the way to go
Nah, downed the beast 6 or 7 times in a total of around 10 tries - item just resisted dropping :) - and I had an agility around 12 then :)

It took me about 15 attempts to get the prize. Beat him four times in all.
Do NOT spend money on strength. Wait 100 seconds to get yourself 4 health and go again. Having 1 health or 400, won't matter against an 8000 point attack.

It just takes time. Eventually you'll get the right combination of dodges, criticals and item powers (those explosions and bounce backs do wonders.) to knock the bitch out. Or wait a while, do some other level work and come back with nastier weapons.

Its just luck. Its not possible to stay alive if he attacks. I spent 300 stamina on him and on the 10th victory i took the trinity.

Overall strength and agility do matter, especially with evading the Beast's attacks, but it seems that it's mostly the choice of equipment and the probability of the actions activating. Then, of course, waiting for the item drop...

So my items for the battle were: 1000 Angels, Force Filed, Flamearrow spell, Black Hole spell, Heal spell, and Celestial Phoenix. took me 5 or 6 tries, died twice. So try to get 2 or either black hole or heal, probly heal. And if you have 20 blessings to blow, go for the Duel Wield item and get 2 1000 Angels.

Stamina'd up to 99 and beat the tar out of him first go (after a few fails before), he dropped the Unholy Trinity and I moved on. Didn't get a special attack out of my Armageddon but got a big Death Rondo and dodged twice. Level 63 (just).
